Worrying: An obsessed fan of Ariana Grande trespassed onto her Los Angeles property on Saturday afternoon

Responding officers found the man near the property and while arresting, he allegedly spit on one of the cops.

A love note was found on the man which reportedly included directions to Ariana’s house.

TMZ report the man was arrested for misdemeanor trespassing and felony battery in relation to the alleged spitting.

The incident comes just two weeks after Ariana was the victim of a hoax 911 call at her Los Angeles home.

Emergency services were alerted following a report of a shooting on the pop superstar’s property, according to TMZ.

Police officers were sent to investigate the report, where they quickly ascertained that nothing was wrong.

It’s understood the 26-year old singer had been swatted, a term referring to the harassing tactic of deceiving emergency services into sending a response team to another person’s address.

Police: Law enforcement sources have told the site that the fan asked a property manager who answered the door for the star before the police were called

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that attending officers were initially skeptical that a crime had been committed because Grande had previously been the victim of a similar hoax.

But still they sent two cars over to the residence and spoke with the property manager, who quickly put them at ease by confirming nothing untoward had happened.

Police took a 911 abuse report, and will continue to investigate the case to dissuade swatting calls, which takes vital time and resources away from genuine emergency calls.

Other high-profile stars targeted by hoax callers include Tom Cruise, Pharrell Williams, Rihanna, Justin Bieber Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Justin Timberlake and Selena Gomez.
