Accordingly, an Instagram account recently quoted Messi and caused a stir, claiming that the Argentine star highly appreciated his second son Mateo for his excellent football skills and that many academies in the US wanted to sign him. The site also said that Messi appreciated Mateo’s playing style as very similar to his own when he was a child.

However, these quotes were recently responded to and corrected by Messi himself in a very harsh manner. “Wrong, I never said that,” Messi responded through his official account, also on the social network Instagram, which has just reached 500 million followers.
