Lamine Yamal’s father, Mounir Nasroui, released a photo a few hours ago showing the current Barcelona player as a child and Leo Messi as a very young man.

Leo Messi and Lamine Yamal are Barcelona’s past, present and future. The La Masia legend has dominated world football for years and the new star is dominating Europe. They have a lot in common… although it is now discovered that they met much earlier.

Mounir Nasraoui, father of Lamine Yamal – a young star of FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team, posted on social media a photo of the talented duo when Lamine Yamal was just six months old.

Sport explains that the photo is from the solidarity calendar that the Spanish newspaper produces every year, in which Barcelona players selflessly participate in the event.

The photo, from the 2008 calendar, was taken by photographer Joan Monfort. Leo Messi can be seen with Sheila Ebana, the mother of his son Lamine Yamal, bathing him.

Just hours before Spain face the prospect of being knocked out of the Euro 2024 hosts in the quarter-finals, Mounir Nasraoui wanted to upload a picture of two players linked by the Catalan giants’ history. He just hoped they could connect on the continent’s success and, who knows, that connection could be the starting point for world conquest.
