Ronaldo’s mother ‘raids’ Al Nassr
In Dolores’ eyes, Ronaldo is always just a little boy. The loving mother just did something that surprised the Al Nassr star.

Ronaldo is now back in training with the Saudi Arabian team. The Portuguese star and his teammates are currently based in Marbella, southern Spain, for two friendlies against Granada and Almeria.
Ronaldo’s presence in Marbella has attracted special attention not only from the locals. A famous guest visited Al Nassr’s training camp to meet his idol in person. That was Erling Haaland.
The Man City striker had an interesting meeting with Ronaldo, who has inspired Haaland since he was a child. The Norwegian player once shared that he sees Ronaldo as a role model worth learning from.

But Haaland was not the most special guest to visit Ronaldo in Marbella. A few days later, the Portuguese player burst into tears of joy when he met his mother and sisters.
Dolores was on vacation in Marbella with Ronaldo’s two sisters, Katia and Elma, and their grandchildren, so when she learned that Ronaldo was training there, she couldn’t pass up the opportunity to meet him.
“Good morning, kisses to everyone,” Dolores captioned a photo of her and Ronaldo at the Al Nassr training camp. Since Ronaldo moved to Saudi Arabia to play football, Dolores has not had many opportunities to see her son.
Dolores was delighted to see her son in Marbella.
At EURO 2024, Dolores tried to arrange her household chores to cheer on her son from the knockout stage. In the match between Portugal and Slovenia, Dolores was in tears after Ronaldo missed a penalty kick in the first extra time.
But things then went in Ronaldo’s favour and that of his teammates. The 39-year-old striker scored the first penalty to help Portugal beat Slovenia 3-0 in a nerve-wracking shootout. After the match, Dolores said she didn’t dare watch Ronaldo’s first penalty for fear that he would miss again.

Even though her son is a successful football superstar, Dolores still sees Ronaldo as just a boy who needs his mother’s attention. During a visit to Al Nassr’s training camp in Marbella, Ronaldo’s mother even met head coach Luis Castro to ask about her son.
“I came here to see if everything was okay,” Dolores captioned a photo with Luis Castro.
Ronaldo once said that everything he has today is thanks to his mother’s great sacrifice. Mrs. Dolores overcame thousands of hardships and bitterness to raise Ronaldo and be able to pursue a football career.
That’s why Ronaldo wants to do everything for his mother. Every month, this player gives his mother 10,000 euros to travel. At retirement age, Dolores lives comfortably and doesn’t have to worry about anything. Earlier this year, Ronaldo even gave his mother a Porsche Cayman worth 200,000 euros for her birthday.
