Arsenal contacted by agent of 29yo free Juventus midfielder
Arsenal has emerged as a potential suitor for French midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who recently became a free agent after his contract with Juventus expired.
The Gunners join a host of top clubs, including Liverpool and Manchester United, vying for the 29-year-old’s signature.

Adrien Rabiot, a versatile midfielder known for his technical skills and physical presence, opted against renewing his contract with Juventus despite a lucrative offer that included a significant salary increase and the captain’s armband. His desire for a new challenge, preferably in a different league, has fuelled speculation about his next destination.
Reports from Italy suggest that Rabiot’s mother and agent, Veronique, has initiated contact with several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal. The Gunners, who are seeking to strengthen their midfield options, view Rabiot as a potentially valuable addition to their squad.
Rabiot’s availability as a free agent makes him an attractive proposition for Arsenal, as they would not need to pay a transfer fee to acquire his services. However, the Gunners will face stiff competition from other clubs, both in England and abroad.

Napoli, in Serie A, has also expressed interest in Rabiot, but the midfielder’s preference for playing in the Champions League could make a move to Naples less appealing as they did not qualify for Europe at all due to finishing 10th. AC Milan is another potential suitor, but Rabiot’s desire for a change of scenery might rule them out as well.
Arsenal’s interest in Rabiot comes amidst a period of transition for the club’s midfield with the Gunners actively seeking reinforcements in that area. Rabiot’s experience, technical ability, and physicality could make him a valuable asset for Mikel Arteta‘s side.
The coming days are expected to be crucial in determining Rabiot’s future. While the midfielder has no shortage of options, his desire for a new challenge and his agent’s reported preference for the Premier League could give Arsenal a slight advantage in the race for his signature.
However, with several other top clubs vying for his services, the Gunners will need to act quickly and decisively to secure his services.
The prospect of adding a proven international midfielder on a free transfer is a tempting proposition for the Gunners, but the competition for his signature is fierce.
Will Arsenal be able to convince Rabiot to join their ranks? Only time will tell.
