Based on a popular webtoon, tvN’s “My Dearest Nemesis” tells the love story of a man and woman who first meet via their online game characters during their school days, then meet again in real life as boss and employee 16 years later.

Mun Ka Young stars as Baek Su Jeong, a hard-working and talented team leader in the strategic planning division at Yongseong Department Store. Choi Hyun Wook plays Baek Su Jeong’s new boss Ban Ju Yeon, a chaebol heir who also happens to be her embarrassing first love from years ago.

Spoilers

On the previous episode of “My Dearest Nemesis,” Ban Ju Yeon and Baek Su Jeong began dating secretly after confirming their feelings for one another. However, at the very end of the episode, Su Jeong came to the shocking realization that Ju Yeon was none other than her first love, “Black Dragon.”

Because her ill-fated crush on Black Dragon ended in catastrophe, Su Jeong desperately wants to forget the whole ordeal from all those years ago—and she struggles to deal with her new knowledge of Ju Yeon’s identity.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Su Jeong tries her hardest to maintain a poker face and not look Ju Yeon’s way. However, Ju Yeon doesn’t make it easy for her. While Su Jeong attempts to keep her expression as emotionless as possible, Ju Yeon unwaveringly stares at her with visible affection in his eyes, making it clear he won’t let her push him away without a fight.

Meanwhile, Seo Ha Jin (Im Se Mi) and Kim Shin Won (Kwak Si Yang) watch the couple nervously from the sidelines. As Ju Yeon and Su Jeong are clearly not on the same page, it remains to be seen whether Ha Jin and Shin Won can help them avert this relationship crisis and get their romance back on track.

The “My Dearest Nemesis” production team teased, “Even after his Black Dragon identity is revealed, the dragon’s bold pursuit of Su Jeong will continue.”

They added, “Please stay tuned to find out whether the two of them will be able to overcome their wounds from the past.”

The next episode of “My Dearest Nemesis” will air on March 17 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
