The stars of “The Witch” have shared their thoughts ahead of tonight’s series finale!
Based on “Moving” author Kang Full’s webtoon of the same name, “The Witch” is a mystery romance about a woman who distances herself from the world due to tragedy and a man who refuses to give up on her.
With just one episode left to go, GOT7’s Jinyoung and Roh Jeong Eui said their final farewells to the drama—and hinted at what viewers should keep an eye on as the story winds to a close.
“I’d waited for the drama for a long time, so I was really happy the entire time it was airing,” shared Jinyoung. “Seeing the reactions of the viewers who followed along with Dong Jin and rooted for him, I felt grateful and proud. I want to thank everyone who cheered on ‘The Witch.’”
Roh Jeong Eui lamented the fact that the drama was already ending, remarking, “The time has arrived where I have to say goodbye to ‘The Witch.’ I didn’t think it would come, and I can’t believe that it’s really time to say goodbye.”
Expressing her deep fondness for the drama, she continued, “I was so grateful and happy to be able to be part of ‘The Witch,’ which was a truly precious drama in my life, and to be able to play Mi Jeong.”
As for what viewers can look forward to in tonight’s finale, Jinyoung teased, “The final episode will capture the journey of Mi Jeong searching for the answers to the questions posed by Dong Jin.”
He added, “If you go back backwards and revisit the things we didn’t know, and if you follow their love—which we knew about but couldn’t fathom its size—you’ll be able to enjoy it even more.”
Meanwhile, Roh Jeong Eui chimed in, “If you keep an eye on whether Mi Jeong and Dong Jin will be able to overcome the new variables and hypotheses, and if they will be able to meet, I think you’ll enjoy watching the final episode even more.”
The final episode of “The Witch” will air on March 16 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
