Tom Holland had trouble wearing the Spider-Man costume
Andrew Garfield says Tom Holland was jealous of the zipper detail in his Spider-Man suit. The costume caused a lot of inconvenience to the actors while filming.
According to Insider , Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland often talk about the inconveniences they encounter when wearing the Spider-Man suit.
Speaking to Variety , Andrew Garfield said the actors often discussed how to go to the bathroom while wearing the suit.
The actor added: “Tom was very jealous because I had a zipper in the costume. This made it easy for me to take my hands out of the Spider-Man suit. To use the phone, Tom had to type with his nose because he couldn’t use his hands.”

Tom Holland has often spoken about the difficulties he faces when wearing a superhero suit. Because his fingers are covered by the costume, the actor cannot scratch himself.
Eating was also difficult for Tom. A tube was inserted into the eye holes in his costume so that Tom Holland could drink. Additionally, toilet breaks required him to plan 45 minutes in advance.
In 2019, during an appearance on NBC’s Late Night With Seth Meyers , Tom Holland admitted that his suit was the most difficult to wear compared to other superheroes in the MCU.

Tobey Maguire played Spider-Man in three films released between 2002 and 2007. The actor said that his superhero suit was quite comfortable and flexible. However, the zipper on the costume broke easily. The costume team had to re-stitch the suit. This made it difficult for Tobey Maguire to drink water or go to the bathroom.
Meanwhile, Andrew Garfield starred in the Amazing Spider-Man films in 2012 and 2014. The actor said the Spider-Man costume made him uncomfortable.
Maguire, Garfield and Holland make an impression when they appear together in No Way Home . The film is released in December 2021.
